David Davis
Saxophonist • Recording Artist • Producer • Composer
For David Davis, music has always been bigger than genre. An accomplished saxophonist, recording artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, David brings together the sophistication and improvisation of jazz with the soul of R&B, the spirit of gospel, and the energy of contemporary music. A Hartt School of Music graduate and protégé of legendary saxophonist Jackie McLean, he has performed and collaborated with Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J, Brian McKnight, Roy Ayers and many more, and performed in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games.
